Our Mission

OSO is an open source public good maintained by Kariba Labs.

Our mission is to build the human-agent collective intelligence hivemind, an open, shared intelligence where people and AI agents reason together, as a public good for the world.

Intelligence is the world's scarcest public good​

Every important decision, how to invest, what to build, where to direct effort, is only as good as the information and the reasoning behind it. Yet the world's knowledge is scattered across silos, and the most powerful tools for making sense of it are concentrated in the hands of a few.

So we decide with partial information. Opportunity is unevenly distributed not because talent is, but because intelligence is.

Humans and agents, thinking together​

We believe the next leap in human progress comes from combining human judgment with AI agents into a collective intelligence that anyone can access, contribute to, and build on, open data, open models, open infrastructure. Not intelligence rented from a black box, but a commons that grows richer every time someone adds to it.

OSO is where that intelligence takes shape: a place where humans and agents work the same data together, check each other's reasoning, and compound what everyone learns.

What a shared intelligence unlocks​

An intelligence held in common changes what's possible:

  • Accelerate the global economy — when better information and reasoning are available to everyone, capital, talent, and effort flow to where they create the most value.
  • Democratize access to information and opportunity — the intelligence that today powers only the largest institutions becomes available to anyone, anywhere.
  • Make better decisions as a society — from individuals to communities to nations, we can reason over shared evidence instead of competing narratives.
